If Tanev is out (along with Edler, Baer, Demko, Sutter, etc), that ground is going to go purdy quick
- dbot

Edler/tanev out definitely leads to top5 pick, proven scenario.

A couple things about last night I noticed. I seen Jake in the first period set up nicely from Bo with a clear shot on net and he misses the net then two seconds later coughs up the puck at the blue line.

Then on the second check by Getzlaff I wondered why did this guy not chase him down right there and knock the crap out of this guy.

This has been Jakes story year after year. You guys comparing him to Neely are nuts.
Silfverberg attacks Gudbrandson last night ready to go head to head with him but Jake always shy's away.

If anyone mentions Jake for Fabbro immediately gets met with I don;t want to give up on him and then wonder why we lose 1 -0 against another rookie AHL call up

Now that JB and TG have embarrassed the tank I have a lot more respect for them.

Bravo to the Canucks braintrust.

We outshot them 35-22. Their guy was good in net. I wouldn't blame Jake for the loss

I am not blaming him for the loss . He was only one of the reasons . How many times did Canucks have traffic in front . How many AHL call ups have played their first game against the Canucks and got a shutout? This is not the first time.

Even if you trade Jake you ain’t going to get anything for him, or not going to get back what you need.

If he doesn’t come to next seasons training camp in NHL ready condition then I say dump his ass.

I did not mean to pick on Jake alone. You have Stecher as your PP1 QB and Granlund on your first PP line. Leivo on the top line. Pouliot is a joke but continues to get big minutes.

Goldobin who has been healthy scratched 8 times is still number 4 in scoring.

There is a lot that need fixing on this team

Don’t blame the players for not having the tools for the job they’ve been asked to do. The Canucks have a roster as deep as a puddle.

Another three years of accumulating talent will help position this franchise to start being competitive again. Another three years to gel as a group... six to nine years from now this team will be golden.

You just have to be patient and trust the process which is a heavily guarded secret in JBs soft melon.

Nope, the Canucks overwhelming lack of skill & talent stole the game for the Ducks.

I am done complaining about last night but they were useless last night against the worst team in the NHL and that was maddening.

It’s a stealth tank, Benning is a secret genius just playing Aquillini

Alex Jones is my source

- Nucker101

Until Benning changes the same 6 D that we lost with last year, its an open tank and everyone knows it.

Not arguing, just saying we've all known that since the start of the year. They've played some pretty good hockey for stretches this season and exceeded expectations. Just because they're having a slump now doesn't mean it's a big shock or that the plan of improving the team has to change at all

Word is the Oilers and Flyers are in trade discussions on Cam Talbot. Could be preliminary, but they’re definitely talking.
