Would you have rather just signed big ben or joe flacco?

Flacco isnt nearly as good as he was 2-3 years ago either.

Idk why it’s so hard to see that acquiring a guy with 10 playoff victories and the only active QB to beat Brady in an AFC Championship game can’t be better for the Broncos then Keenum. Flacco also had one of his best seasons in the Kubiak west coast offense and our new OC came from a Kyle Shanahan coached offense which is very similar.

Actually makes sense, they want more people betting. It's psychology, fans will be like, "we got worse?! (frank) you! I'm going to bet even more now!", look at all the rationalizing we've seen here today. Flacco is better than Keenum, they got better, for sure, but Flacco does not put them ahead of the Chargers or the Chiefs. The South is getting the second WC whether it's the Colts or Texans. I think a 10-6 team or two miss next year in the AFC and the Broncos could be one of those teams.

That's just it. No one is saying Keenum is good. But everyone is saying, for the most part, says flacco is bad. And if they're just gonna run and play solid d, why bring in a guy who for more seasons then not has struggled to be average. For a fourth, guess it's worth a shot. Just saying maybe don't plan the parade because you traded for "a SB MVP." Because like you said, you only traded a fourth.. Usually, good SB MVPs do not get that treatment

No, no I’m know where near planning a parade. I think with Flacco they have a better chance at the playoffs then with Keenum. I expect the Broncos to address the QB position either this year in the draft or next year at the latest. I think Fangio is the one that moves the needle the most for the Broncos. When we lost Wade Phillips our defense took a step back. With Fangio here the defense will keep us in every game no matter who we are playing. Flacco doesn’t need to be Mahomes, he just can’t be the worst QB in the league either. If he gives us Alex Smith type of production (doesn’t turn the ball over and makes a play when he needs to) the Broncos can win 10 games this year.

Don’t jinx yourself Boss ! I like what I saw from Allen the last few weeks but it’s a lot easier to play when you’re out of the playoff hunt and a majority of the teams you’re playing are in the same situation. Osweiler went 4-2 for the Broncos and made $17M with the Texans and flopped. Sanchez took the Jets to two AFC championships once upon a time. Vince Young won a rookie of the year. Deshaun Watson isn’t the same player that tore up the league in the 7 games he played before tearing his ACL the year before.

Allen has the traits you want to see in a QB but until I see it day in and day out I wouldn’t say you guys are out of the woods just yet. Getting him an O-Line and guys to throw the ball too will definitely help though.
