I just hope AM didn’t lose his beast mode.
He seems less dominant than he was before. He’s stripping the puck less. Now it’s pass the puck and get in position for a shot.

I think we all need to temper our expectations a little bit. He's barely above a Point per Game over the last two seasons.
The guy is just a regular old franchise centre, not the next wayne gretzky. |

The guy is just a regular old franchise centre, not the next wayne gretzky.

Tavares and Matthews for the most part are frustratingly unflashy. Kind of like Crosby and OV after their first few years.

When you take a look at the top goal scorers and point producers off all time, a majority of them were not flashy players. They all had their moments, but for the most part, they simply knew when and were to be on the ice at the right time.
