So you still need shed million in your dream. And then no money to bring anyone up when injury happens. - BigDog912
So they went from needing to shed 17 million to needing to shed 1 million that fast. And you still don't see why your math is (frank)ed up?? |

I do find it hilarious when the refs call zero penalties on one team in today's NHL, but it's not the reason the Isles lost. They played like trash. |

I was at the game and it was one of those games where if you're a coach for either team, even if you win, you're not happy. Sloppy hockey.
I think every fan has the mindset of "ofcourse! they'd call that penalty for every other team in the league" So i try to remove as much bias as I can |

You guys are probably the same people that complain that the Leafs get too much media coverage.
- Deeps27
Your name should be Dopes27. I have no axe to grind at any team. I was merely pointing out that the bridge deals proposed were unrealistic. How you got to media coverage is beyond me. |

One of the worst games they’ve played in a while and the Sabres played a good, tight checking game. Sabres deserved to win we certainly didn’t. |

Possibly but Stamkos, Hedman, and Kucherov all took less money to stay there so they set the precedence there. - Feds91Stammer
You could be right... but the precedence for this group of players coming off their entry level deals are different, even from the ones 2 years ago...
Have a feeling the Nylander deal, and somewhat the Matthews deal have given agents something to gun for.

Too much for a guy on a negative points trend and a negative (and sizable) +/- trend. I love the guy, but that's just not the right value. |

It was tough for me to watch that last goal go in. We saw a lot of goals barely squeak in against Lehner, and i always supported him. It looked like a mid 90s/trap type game. Not much room throughout the neutral zone |

No complaints with Lehner he has been excellent for us. Can’t be perfect every game. We were lucky to get the sober version of him. Sabres gave the islanders zero room most of the night save for the last ten mins of the 3rd when we decided to start playing. Good defensive game by the Sabres. |
