Yea he looks old. He still makes the incredible save but he lets in some softies. Makes no sense to have Georgy on the bench, play the guy 5-6 games in a row and see what you have in him. He only made 50 saves the other night |

Hank has carried this team for so many nights, stealing wins we should have never gotten. It just stinks when he has a game like tonite, those softies he let in cost us the game.
I hope we NEVER get this pair of refs again , they were AWFUL for both teams. Penalties were called for questionable crap, but outright dangerous plays were ignored. Good grief! |

Zibanejed is on one of best runs I can remember for a Ranger forward, this is pretty amazing stuff |

Absolutely dominant.
Hopefully he can continue it next year and perhaps Chytil will be a beneficiary if they play together. |

it's impossible for the Rangers to make the playoffs, no matter what, it can't happen, they are virtually mathematically eliminated
why get frustrated over any loss at this point |

While I agree with your sentiment here, I do agree with the OP that I want to see if Georgie can handle a 1B role. I think that's going to be a problem with Hank the next couple seasons. Like Luongo, Hank is better suited as a platoon goalie. I think 50 games a season is about ideal for him at this point. Hank however, always prefered and seemingly played better as a workhorse. You just wonder if he would be willing to go that route.
Edit: it was SLim who suggested Georgie though the OP is right, Hank has been iffy in some games recently. |

Might be an unpopular opinion: I don't want to see Zib with Krav and Chytil. We complain about being a one line team. We also know that Zib and Kreider have amazing chemistry. I'm not breaking them up. Instead if we do get rid of Hayes, I think getting a 2C in UFA should be a top priority if we leave Chytil at wing. Just imagine a speed line of CHytil, Kravstov, and a competent 2C when the other team already has to account for Zib/Kreids. We could really have something there. |
