What was your first reaction upon hearing the news to post it around midnight that night this past weekend? Miller took a hard fall, with that source, Chris Peters stating he was down on the ice for some time, and unable to put weight on his injured leg.
From over 40 years experience in playing the sport, coaching, and instructing, I have seen players falling and crashing into the boards at far less than Miller's speed as shown on the video, and suffering anywhere up to torn major knee ligaments. That, despite they, just like Miller, never also being hit on the leg with contact from an opposition player. As per Chris Peter's details & the video, I posted the worst possible results, as well as stating to hope for the best that it would be only a knee sprain suffered of some kind, which would heal with rest followed by therapy, but without requiring any surgery.
I didn't know that you yourself have MRI vision, Tom, to know that it wasn't a serious injury, at least for now.

I forgot about that game also being on Vic Hadfield night until you mentioned it here Jan. I believe the Rangers were also in their usual double figures in shots they blocked that game. When including shots blocked, that made the Jets 42-19 SOG advantage be close to in count, but in Shot Attempts not including shots missed, to Sunday night's 56-30 SOG alone domination by the Leafs. However, the Leafs' dominance was due to their 23-3 SOG advantage when on their 4 power plays to the Rangers 1. Tonight, Hank must likely have to pull a Georgiev feat, with Georgiev not allowing a PP goal & stealing that 4-1 win with his 55 saves against the Leafs.

Rangers should the jets as a blueprint to build their team. The jets can play any style of hockey. I want Tampa to win the cup for the 1st but wouldn't mind seeing the jets to win
