Nice to see Nylander really coming around. The last few weeks he was really buzzing and could have had another small basket of assists up to tonight with the way he was moving the puck.

I guess based on my earlier comments in the thread that Kapanen > Johnsson, but man they both bring a lot to the table. Let's hope some wheeling and dealing in the off season can keep these guys around a little longer...

Both are looking pretty damn good this season. Maybe we can trade Brown and use his salary for one of them? He was pretty good his first year, but seems to have lost his offense. Both of those others are better offensively and seem just about as good defensively as far as I can tell...

I think nylander will go back with Matthews soon. Marleau back with kadri. Everything and everyone will be rolling come playoff time.

Kinda weird Muzzin is getting the least amount of ice time at 5v5 since he came over from LA. Hopefully that starts moving up.

It was the right pick at the time. Even in hindsight the draft was not very good outside the top 10. Unless I'm missing someone, beside Shea Theodore taken a couple of pics after, there really isn't anyone that would make me say, I wish we would have taken him. There are obviously better players taken after him, but no one that I would really care much about.

Babs changed all the lines last year as we headed for the playoffs, as much as everyone in here’s a better coach ( not aimed at you )...I’d like to think he’s got a clue about what’s going on....it’s a marathon not a sprint. We’ll be ready for the PO’s and hopefully the right guys will be getting the right ice and we win some rounds. JMO

There are a few better players after him, but for the most part you're correct.

I am more laughing at the fact that while he's a first rounder, he is not in the same league (figuratively, even if he is literally) as the rest.

Also I'm laughing at the mentality that went into choosing him. Burke and Nonis with their emphasis on size over skill.

Watched the Game in 6, nice to see the PP clicking. Anybody stay up for the whole thing? How good was the PP? Looked like they were making quicker decisions with the puck.

Also, been harping on them setting up behind the net, so nice to see Tavares feed one to Kadri there. Just so hard to defend against when you're looking both ways.

Oh man, that was one weak draft. Outside the first round there's Pesce (66th), Duclair (80th), Bjorkstrand (88th) and Johnsson (202nd ) - not a great deal of note beyond that.
