I find it weird when they were struggling they never once tried Nylander with Tavares. Even for those two shifts they had marner and Matthews together they had him on the 3rd or 4th line. Babs is (frank)ing weird.

As I said all along, off season trade for Ekblad.

Marner will skate, put in effort, play like he cares and make at least one fantastic play.

Matthew will continue to not put forth any effort. Nobody will admit that his progression has been backwards.

Nice to see Nylander really coming around. The last few weeks he was really buzzing and could have had another small basket of assists up to tonight with the way he was moving the puck.

I guess based on my earlier comments in the thread that Kapanen > Johnsson, but man they both bring a lot to the table. Let's hope some wheeling and dealing in the off season can keep these guys around a little longer...
