The Leafs very, very rarely "start the game on time". Is that coaching? Or is that the players? Do the players need to be reminded and motivated every game not to conceded a goal in the first 5 mins? It's one of the oldest cliches in hockey. Do the coaches tell the players to ease into the game? Do the players ignore the message the coaches lay out?

I just made a tea, then realized it's 11:00. Damn late games...

I think it’s players.
Tavares line got scored on sat and sun in less then a min into the game.

Kinda weird Muzzin is getting the least amount of ice time at 5v5 since he came over from LA. Hopefully that starts moving up.

And another thing, Zaitsev is just fine as long as he is paired with any one of 4 other dmen the leafs have.
