I said I didn't give a f*ck about Mikey's (or anyone else's) feelings, it's just another example of Bennings ineptness. - Marwood
So you don't give a (frank) about Mikey's feelings?
But you want the team to lose cus making the playoffs would be counterintuitive/poor timing for the rebuild but Bennings ineptness you do care about?

I was thinking the same thing.
Maybe this is an indication that JB is doing a great job, if this is what people are focussing on. - dbot

Funny - I never heard anyone mention the Dylan Ferguson situation from last year. Anyone call for McPhee's resignation? I wonder what the narratives would be in here if the Nucks/MDP had won? or if SJ didn't score 4 ridiculous goals and the game ended up 3-2 or 4-2? The thing that cracks me up is the people freaking out the most are the ones that want us to lose the most. |

I also don't believe that Bachman, McKenna, Leighton, Kulbakov, Mazanec or whatever 3rd scrub we can find would've done any better - for (frank) sakes SJ just scored 7 goals against Washington a week ago. |

Exactly. The team in front of him was terrible and like 3 of the goals were flukey as poop. |

Losing is just part of the winning process, some people hate that, some people embrace it. All great teams lost to get great players before they became good.

What does that have to do with the previous comment?
He was saying the people who are pro tank are the ones who are upset by the DiPietro situation |

I'm pro tank and I'm not upset at all with the Dipietro situation, I'm more pissed Benning threw away a 7th for a goalie we won't need and will probably lose, my guess is Demko is on his way back to Utica when he's healthy because Benning would look foolish if he loses Mazenek trying to send him to Utica, the Flyers would probably take him as well |

I think he's deflecting and that's not the real issue, the seven goals or DiPietro's feelings. Losing and showing poor management skills are two separate issues, in this case.
It's unfortunate they put themselves in a position that they had to call up a 19 year old kid from junior to play...period. That's the issue. But poop happens.
It shows poor management. They gambled and lost, but jeezuz, it's not the end of the world, no one died and DiPietro got to have a great experience he's been dreaming about since childhood. |

You retards are missing the point. You don’t have a guy on your roster as an emergency call up for a month. Your plan shouldn’t be “I hope team x waives a guy soon so we can solve our problem.
I would think the win now crowd would be the most upset about management costing the team a chance to get two points. |

Blues won again but the Flyers did the pro playoffs crowd here a favor and beat the Wild. Coyotes won and are now just two points back with a game in hand. Things are so tight in the West Wild Card race. |

Ya, it’s going to down to the wire. We could end up anywhere really. Except the playoffs. |

Thank you. Message it sent the team was brutal when your trying to make the playoffs. Get a fricken goalie it's been a month. We probably woulda got lit up anyway but that's not the point. Bad management yet again. I just find they get a ton of passes for a team that is approaching 1 playoffs in 8 years and this year has been marked by everyone around us sucking. This management group seems to make lots of small errors everywhere they go that add up. This is just another example |

I know you're just ranting and I feel your frustration but they've made the playoffs four times in the past eight seasons not including this one. I agree with your "a lot of small miscalculations" statement though, there's been a bunch.
2011 - Cup finals
2012 - lost first round to LA
2013 - Lost first round to the Sharks
2014 - Did not qualify
2015 - Lost first round to Calgary (Bennings 1st year)
2016 - Did not qualify
2017 - Did not qualify
2018 - Did not qualify |

Yesterday was the equivalent of ordering a teen burger and the owner/staff forgetting to put a beef patty on it. Benning should be fired and I like Benning but over and over he demonstrates sub par management. This is just the latest case - Jkuzzi
Like in the news there was that A&W that was completely on fire, and the customers were still in their vehicles in the drive thru waiting for their food. |

I am totally pissed that Benning gave up a 7th for a goalie.
He is missing out on selecting another Brett MacKenzie, or any other of the great 7th rounders, damn fool.
Thanks for the laughs everyone. |

Praise for trading Nilsson and calling up Demko. Now mad that he didnt get another goalie when they all went down at once. 🙄 |

It's not about how many bullets are in the chamber , it's about how many goalies fully dressed can you get into a Volkswagen . |

Sounds about right. Kesler's been just horrible for the Ducks this year but he might get up for this game lol. Wonder if Perry is back yet? |

Maybe they will trade Getzlaf before the game. |
