Sativa heightens your emotional state. Indica kills it.

In more interesting news than the ineptness of Jim Benning, El Chapo to appeal his conviction

Mexican drug lord, former, yes, I have no idea about the amount of people he was responsible for killing. The series about him on Netflix was good though.

Every time I think it's over someone else comes in and posts a paragraph about how inept management is. It's hysterical
- NorthNuck

It's never over because it's continually on display, however, even someone who hates him as a GM, like me, gets tired of discussing it. I haven't had a good Benning rant in ages.

Truth be told, he just is what he is, it's boring though, I'd almost rather discuss the Milankovitch cycles with the environmental engineers lol.

Sounds like an escape plan to me. Either that or maybe all the witnesses have disappeared.

About a week but really whats the difference

They obviously believed that Demko would be back very quickly. When Marky tweaked something they didn't have time before the game to make a move so they did it the next day. I don't see what's worth getting worked up over

- NorthNuck

It is another example of how f*cking useless & inept Benning is.

No kidden - but nothings good enough for some people. Time lines/facts don't seem to matter. Getting rid of Nilsson and finally calling up Demko was praised a month ago - but now it's like it didn't happen. Doesnt take much for the sky to fall.
- Brooks_Light

It is worth pointing out because it is amateurish management for a multi-million dollar professional sports league.

You just keep strengthening my case for how inept they are. They believed it was no big deal (your words), and then something else happened and they were screwed, with no real plan.

For the record, neither myself, nor Lefty are “worked up” about it. Juky maybe a little, but the team has been without an AHL goalie since Bachman was injured. That’s quite a long time to try and sort out your poop. Calling up your CHL goalie from Ontario while you are on the East Coast for a game (or two of it were back to back) is an understandable unfortunate situation. Dragging him back to Vancouver a week later is inept.

You people still going on about this are the drama queens
- LeftCoaster

No kidding, I'm trying to tell everyone that the goalie situation is not the issue with this present team....let it go folks.

The real issue is the coaching debacle, Green is over his head, Brown is living in the past, Baumgartner's defensive systems are crap...

What about Demko, I thought he filled in quite nicely while Bachman was down?

.@rayferrarotsn: I guess I can sympathize with how the breaks rolled for the #Canucks . Injuries in the minors, the Demko injury, the Nilsson trade, then McKenna on waivers. But to have your only goalie in the system is a 19-year-old junior goalie is mind-boggling, to be honest

More @rayferrarotsn: This shouldn't have been an option. And that they had no one else...when this went bad for DiPietro, they should have been able to get him out. I don't have any fear this will be a long-lasting issue for DiPietro, but it was an embarrassing situation

------------------------------------------------------

I think this sums it up nicely, nothing more needs to be said really. Time to move on!

He has summed it up nicely. It was nice to see Demko play, nice for him to get to experience pro level hockey, but in the end, it was a clear bluster by management and probably should have never had happened. Time to move on

Apparently Demkos camp was putting a lot of pressure on the team to move Nilsson and play him...he rewards them by being soft as (frank)

I thought Demko was an NHL goalie? But ok, i’ll Play this game. So they have one NHL goalie and one AHL goalie. Still seems a bit weak to me.

You think Colorado would trade Ottawa's first back them for Stone if he agreed to an extension before hand?

you and your semantics, Demko filled in quite nicely in Utica when Bachman was injured. Ok that's out of the way. Next Nilsson was traded and Demko brought up...the rest of the situation was unfortunate, but sh!t happens.

But look at it this way...where would all the hysteria or your hyperbole be generated from if Benning wasn't such a genius
