just want to make note of the useless bums on this roster. Stafford, Rooney, Gabriel, Lovejoy, Mueller, Santini. I feel like I'm being nice not including some others. They don't belong on NHL ice.. and we have all 6 on the roster. 50% of the defense, and 25% of the offense.

He's aging. Still decent. But he probably should have had two of the 4 goals scored against him tonight. The problem for the Rangers is the likes of Edmonton, Florida, Arizona and Colorado have all become or have been dog poop for a while now.

I have seen enough. Time for management to start using that excess salary cap space and get some future assets, god knows that space will not be attractive to any free agents. Get us some future hope, not third round or later picks.

Its on you now Shero. The players and coaches as currently constructed have shown you what they have. As GM of this team you need to correct it or move aside for some one who can. Four years into a rebuild and not much progress to show yet. Thank god we got lucky and won the lottery once.

I say this because we have nothing else to trade to get back good value and the prospect pipeline is marginal/limited.

Its not so much blaming him for what he has done, i have always supported his moves in the past. What is troublesome is where is this going. Yes in general it is nice we got younger, but younger does not equate to better. The trade front will be limited for us based on current tradeable assets, other than cap room. Free agency has never been kind to the Devils. The draft means typically means years more before fruition. My point is that if they don't start doing something with that cap room to improve this team why should I spend a couple hundred on tickets and parking to support this. At a point you have to show continued growth, not a one and done.
