Probably because you don’t really see a player you are interested in all the time by watching game film. Video replays and television don’t give you the feel and actual view of how affective a player is on the ice, behind the play and on the bench with his teammates. Otherwise, you would just have a lot of guys like on this board playing GM because they watch games on TV, look at capfriendly, and cite ONLY the random advanced stats that help their argument.
