He is with the phantoms and instead of the full 2 weeks they only assigned him for 1 week. Which means he will be back with the team. If healthy I play him over stoly. Who probably doesn't have a future in philly as they seem hell bent on getting hart a mentor.

Where have you seen anything about this?

Gonna have to disagree. Far to many turnovers and failed clears that ended up with scoring chances against. They deserved a better fate against Pittsburgh so it evens out.

He posted that last night. The last night he was referring to is the Pittsburgh game.

He's really close to being off IR. So the question becomes - do they carry three goalies till the trade deadline to showcase him? Does he go down to the Phantoms on a conditioning stint? Does he replace Stolarz as a back-up?

Got it. I think they're carrying three now so there'll have to be some shuffling.

The Flyers will waive McKenna to change the 4some to a 3some. Then they will either trade Elliott or Waive Stolarz to make it a duo.

the teams ahead of the Flyers have some tough games coming up... A good scoreboard through Sunday and a sweep of the Wings and it will get very tight.

don't dare to hope

PREDS 13% PP can you say Simmonds
- wcorvette

There are a lot of names out there that are more attractive than Simmonds.

I'm not too crazy about Stolie. I think he has a future as an NHL backup but I dont think he is there yet. He leaves too many holes, and the book on him is to shoot high and last night you saw why.

I wouldn't waive Stolarz and risk him being claimed for Elliott who is a UFA.

True they could carry 3 for the rest of the year also. Since rosters expand after the deadline as they have the cap space.

I don't think he was great last night or as good as he had been, but I really like him as the backup moving forward. The book on every goalie is to shoot high. Did you see Giroux's goal against a big goaltender last night?
