On Ghost and Simmer, you have to sell high. Too many times this team has kept players too long. Simmer is great but his 5 on 5 skills are deteriorating rapidly and any long term contract we would sign him to we would soon regret. Ghost has not been able to shore up defensively. I would try him at forward and if the right deal comes along I would pull the trigger. |

ghost for kyle connor - 2Real
I'd do it. I'm not sure Winnipeg does.
How young do you want to go tho? Would you send Ghost to the Panthers for Owen Tippett? Kid has 19 goals and 33 points in 23 games.
Ideally I want a NHL proven player but a prospect like that would definitely get my attention. |

Not a knock on Ghost but the upside for Tippet is higher. |

Our D looks totally lost. Wasn't Rick Wilson supposed to be a defensive guru? |

Simmonds is worthless 5 on 5 he has at least two blind hope and pray passes in the last couple of shifts.
Forwards cheating out of the dzone and the Dmen are getting hammered. |

I really don't like Voracek on the right side on the PP.
I will take a deflection goal however. |

That's possible. They're wildly undersized imo.
I think Morin could fix a lot on the back end when he finally gets here. |

I saw a mock expansion draft that had JVR going to Seattle. Seemed crazy at the time, but it would depend on whose available as a UFA. If Stone and Panarin are still unsigned that would be quite an upgrade to Simmer and JVR. I think having Hart will make Philly a very desirable destination for free agents for hopefully a lot of years. |

That was a weak call. See when you eff up a double minor then you feel obligated to give make up calls. Then the whole officiating thing becomes a joke. |

I just want a guy who isn't undersized and is committed to defense. Doesn't need to be flashy. Just get the job done. |
