Was at the game last night and Todd's comments are bang on about SJ2.
Kane and Hertl were beasts!
Hate to sound like a broken record but the Flames need to get some skilled size in their forward group if we are going to be able to compete with SJ, NASH, WPG in playoff hockey.

IDK Flames have beat all those teams...with better goal tending and some finish they could have easily won last night

Can't win every game...Tampa just dropped a couple

I really think it just comes down to Stone. He's really the only player that I think will make a major impact on what happens in the West. If he resigns in Ottawa, and Rittich or Smith can remember how to goalie, the Flames will make the finals. If he ends up on another team in the West, it could be a problem.

Agree he would be the perfect fit for us and he brings size and skill.
He would allow us to move Frolik and Bennett down in the lineup, move Mangiapane out and give us a 1-2 punch as good as anyone's.
I would be OK with us offering a 2019 1st, Kylington and Mangiapane or Czarnik.

I too like Stone, hopefully we are still in the race for him. I would prefer a 2019 1st, Czarnik and Mangiapane. I’m not sure I’m comfortable in trading away Kylington just yet, unless, yes, it was for Stone.

Can only protect 3 D in the next expansion draft, so adding Kylington would make sense if Valimaki is on the rebound.

Ritt has been great but also has had some softies here and there, which until last night haven’t hurt us.

I still think he was pulled way to early. Peters has a mental cramp on that one.

Wtf happened last night! Better get back on track in Hongcouver...man there is a lot of asians here.

My head hurts! 😣

Oh yeah. I was at the supermarket in Richmond in Van a few months back. This one is huge. I was the ONLY non Asian in the entire place. I’m all for friendly immigration and stuff, but this is getting out of hand. Not enough jobs for the people we already have!! Stop moving new people into the country until we have enough work to go around ffs. It’s already having a crippling effect here on the Island..
