He's made a couple of errors, but mostly Seabrook looked fine. He made some excellent break ups on the side wall and near the blue line that stifled an incoming cycle. I understand people don't like his contract, but if you're failing to see the positive plays he contributes, you have blinders on
- Hawks_49

He has been terrible today. Virtually giving it right back to the Red Wings. I could care less about his contract at this point, he just needs to make a good hockey play with the puck on his blade, something he has failed to do. It's almost like he's trying to get rid of the puck too fast, not sure why that is. It's almost like he's playing to "not get hit", which is bizarre, because one thing that guy is NOT is afraid. Or at least he has never shown to be afraid.

But I am sorry dude, his first period was abysmal. Lets see if he can settle down in the 2nd and 3rd, we need him rolling.

I know it's the Red Wings but this team is playing at full speed, and they look like they are having fun and playing with a lot of energy

Hillman must be sick or injured since he was not in the lineup last two games. Tuulola took hus ola e. Tw Gilbert was one of the star of game choices one of the weekend games. Split vs Tuscon.

Off subject but just recall some neat former and current team names. Old WHA had
Phoenix Roadrunners, Michigan Stagg, and we all knkw all those Canadien cities with great names

Anyone have some favorite ones to mention?

Imagine stuck playing baseball in Walla Walla. Imagine if Wacey Rabbit had made it to the NHL - ok that one is a player nane i couldn't resist.

Miami Screaming Eagles. I believe Bernie Parent hooked on with them at some point. The team didn’t last long.

The one with blinders on is #7 who passed the puck to Debrincat when he was covered 2 shifts in a row. Almost got him killed by Abdeljadrt on one and the 2nd resulted in quality scoring chances against and sustained zone time for the wings. He’s not good.

I imagine when the FO feels like they are ready to take the next step, which will probably be next season, 7 will be a healthy scratch most nights. Every dman other than Forsling is playing better than him, it's too bad

You mean the Avs?
- RedRevenge

No, I meant Ottawa. Colorado has enough talent to make the playoffs, not sure what’s wrong our there.

Your comment sounds to me like something wiz would say. No Keith and Seabrook are not done yet. Neither Toewes. But i am curious how he is effective if we havr a lot of really physical games. Maybe he has to be careful to not become overly involved in board scrums

They look really good. Even line 4 was effective on the forecheck with Hayden laying the boom behind the wings net.

I really like Burish on the between periods and post game shows. He clowns a bit, especially when Sharp is on the set with him, but he gets right at the nub of the play and has very good insight.

I am so glad Perlini is playing today. I know everyone dogs him and he did get a unfortunate penalty the other night but he was starting to play well and he has continued to today.

Or not paying attention to the forward group out there.

Yea I wouldn't bench him for Forsling after what I saw of Forsling the other night. But I don't understand Seabrook on pace for 25 minutes tonight.

Wow, the Blackhawks have finally found a team they can beat in Corsi & scoring chances.

Looks like Hughes is going to ANA, DET or OTT.

The Hawks will get a solid forward in Cole Caufield.

They still have work to do like with Gusto down low and no forward recognition of this. The defense at least for one period is doing a good job of rotating and keeping themselves between the goalie and the player and disrupting the strong side of the forwards
- BetweenTheDots

I totally agree. They just look like a different team from the team we all saw back in October and November. It's been fun to watch only bodes well moving forward

Holy poop, Chris Kunitz rises from the ashes. Great forecheck then gets a great scoring chance. Then forces icing.

Caggiula has as many hits (4), as the rest of the team does in total. How the hell does EDM give up on a guy like that? He was capable of doing the same thing for McDavid as he is for Toews and Kane.
