Here’s a %
35% of the season has yet to be played - lots can happen

- Colbyboy

Logic like that is why they’ve been able to build all those big casinos in Las Vegas. One could go broke quickly betting on the Hawks to be in the 18-19 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Be keep up that positive vibe! I’ll stay here in the real world.

On another subject the Lightning’s third jersey looks great, except you can’t see the numbers let alone the names.
- LAHawk

Just tuned in to their game after the Leafs beat Montreal in OT. Agree with your jersey comments. Can't tell numbers/names from afar, but they're clearer in closeup.

That would make them not look great, wouldn't it? Seeing the numbers is kinda important.

I feel as though you can't rely on teams losing but you can rely on teams performing at a similar level. These teams that have a 6 or 7 point lead against the Hawks based on games played/ points total are going to probably continue on the same path.

This is going to be a steep hill for the Blackhawks to climb, i know the blogger for the Preds did a piece on teams making the playoffs and his data said by the quarter of the season pretty much determined the playoff teams. His data found 1 team from each conference might sneak in after the quarter season mark.

Can the Blackhawks be one of those teams? We'll see

And BTW, your math is not so good. 55/82 is 67.1%. There is less than 33% of the season remaining for the Blackhawks.

I expect Vegas vs CBJ to be a better paced game. Hawks need an Alex Tuch kind of player..

EDIT: Or Josh Anderson

Flames are fun to watch but I expect them to dominate Vancouver. Already a playoff intensity in Sin City. Greasy goal on the doorstep by Anderson but under review. Also, Panarin said he is going to Free Agency regardless of if/where he is traded. He basically laughed when asked if CBJ has a chance to sign him this summer...31 seconds later and it's 1-1 three minutes in

Panarin dumped his agent and signed with Bobrovsky's agent. Wondering if they're leaning to a package deal to the same team.

Canucks 1-0, 5 minutes in.

Edit. Now 1-1

Tough crowd

1-My apology- I thought Hawks had 28 left but it’s 27 which means 32.9 % of the season to play
Or 1/3 (27 / 82 )
2-My post on season left was not meant to mean playoffs were possible - just that a lot can happen in 1/3 of a season

Good luck to them finding a team that has ~20M in cap space just hanging around.

Though anyone signing Bob to that kind of contract will regret it instantly.

Essentially 3.00 GAA and 90% save for Bob this year.....30 years old and has been BRUTAL in the playoffs....I think he and his agent are in for a rude awakening if they're expecting big $$$ and term this summer.
