Dale Weise is back in Montreal.

Stan’s asleep at the wheel again. Another missed opportunity while Stan waited for the bigger, better deal.

I was actually a fan of Mad Dog Weise when he was hear with Chicago.

Hard working dude who I think was misused.

Yeah don't think he was given a fair shot but giving up Danault turned out to be a horrible

6 games for the western bubble teams today. Would love to see an 0 and 6 in regulation.

However, for the fun of it, what ends up being the outcome today/tonight?

I say 1-4-1, there are some loseable games for the bubble teams.

It doesn't matter unless the Hawks win 2 out of every 3 games going forward, winning streak is a nice start to get them there.

But another 1st round pick by the Blackhawks who plays in the NHL, that's why i don't want to see them trade it away unless its for a young top 4 dman

Kind of does matter. They are basically 2.5 games out right now. Should a few teams around them/above them falter a bit, then it increases the odds. All these teams have to win 2 out of every 3. Not all of them will.

With Koivu getting hurt, its hard not to think Minny will fall off. Both wild cards will be up for grabs.

Look at Danault and Kempny's cap hits right now. Tell me they would not have a net positive on this team right now? Danault, STrome, Toews, Kruger/Kamph. Not too bad down the middle. Kempny eating top 4 minutes...

I know, water under the bridge ....

This!!!

Also, it's hard to attract a FA to help this team if the team sucks.

Agreed, i think Hughes is faster, especially in a straight line. He's a great skater.

Only one or two of them have to.

Hawks must beat all of them to the finish line.

No doubt. How dare anyone detract from the serious business of constructing line combos and trade scenarios in an attempt to inject some humor. The mods should be alerted to this nonsense.

You assume Minny will struggle. All these other teams aren't in a playoff spot as well, if the Blues and Wild go 500 both will finish with 85 points. I believe the Hawks are probably the best 500 team in the WC but as i keep saying let's get to 500 first. Any kind of 5 game losing streak the Hawks are pretty much done.

Your prediction is good, but knowing our luck it'll be a perfect 6-0, haha. What sucks is some teams have games in hand.

Not every post. Every 14th or 15th post I try something serious, I think that’s reasonable.
