Any word why Dahlstrom is not in lineup? Reportedly the GM and coach want to give both Forsling and Koekkoek playing time insofar as to help influence whom they keep next season. But here and now this defense is bad enough. Both should not dress in lineup/they had been alternating.. I have wanted Forsling to prove he belongs. But Koekkoek might be the more solid player. Off potential Forsling would get the nod although Koekkoek was a #1 and Forsling was still quite raw when drafted.

Certainly Seabrook should be among those considered to sit. He can still be a leader even if he sits sometimes.

State of Blackhawks defense sounds promising for future years but sad state of affairs presently.

- Trade a RFA Schmaltz for Strome (love this trade).
- It's looking like the Murphy trade is actually paying off. I remember this board going up in blames when Hammer was traded.
