Vorachek tied edlers stick as they drove to and past the net. Edler got spun around and his face met the ice. Looked KO'd. Also had something around his right leg as he was stretchered off too.

It looked nasty, plus he got twisted up with Voraceks stick so he was like a human pretzel when he hit ice.
I am guessing he hurt his knee as well. |

You ever see someone bail while waterskiing and forget to let go of the towline? Edler hit the ice like that. Stick got pulled, spun Edler around, lost footing, and hit the ice face first. If Edler would have let go of this stick nothing would have happened.
Never seen anything like it. Even Sami Salo was quoted saying “damn that was a (frank)ing weird injury”. |
