Panthers interested in dealing for Bobrovsky as prelude to enticing him to sign what would be an 8-year extension. Brassard would likely be part of package going to Columbus in return, we're told.

They would have to move a goalie in that deal as well

Nylander should’ve been the call up. Doesn’t seem like he’s going to get his shot with JB running things. Probably best to trade him now rather than later.

wadr, Nylander's play hasn't been close to smith's...and it's not just the numbers...there's a big difference between the two when watching them on the ice

CJ Smith earned it though

How can you as a GM say that you have to earn your way up and then skip the guy that has been the best player on that team all season?

Gets the nod next season to play full time in the show. Nylander is keeping Bottcoin strong and could be a valuable piece to acquire payer x to “help now”.

Are the Sabres "showcasing " okposo for a trade?

Okposo and our 4 (1st) round picks over the next 2 years to Arizona for a 7th

- Boss34

Lol that’s an overpay.

Okposo, Nylander and a 2nd to whoever to take the contract off our hands.

They’ll beat Minny 4-1 and lose the next 5 at home.

Phil’s seat gets extremely warm.

There’s no centre of any real talent besides maybe Asplund in Rochester. Nylander is a player that needs a good centre that can find him. A spot with Eichel or Mittelstadt is what he needs.

I would hope that the emotionless, gum chewing, knee holding coach already has 2nd degree burns on his ass.

Problem is Eichel would look to pass to him in front of the net but he would still be at center ice

Bob can be good and when he is good he is vezina good.. but he can also be bad. very schizo in his play. i wouldn't give him 8.5 but i would be willing to go to 5 or 6 for him however i would be scared to give him more than 3 or 4 years.

But CJ Smith produced and Nylander is not

Cj Smith is a ppg player in Rochester

Nylander is about a .5 point per game player

it would help, but it's more than that...smith skates with a sense of purpose every shift, with Nylander it seems like every so often...will never say smith's skill-level is better than nylander's, because it isn't, but not too far off and makes the most of what he's been given
