Then at least we’d have been doubling down on a good young talent with him & Mitts

So if Thomas & Mitts both struggled,
we’d have plenty of Cap space to add

Is the trade i wanted a possibility?

But I’d have paid the 10mil bonus 1st,
which would’ve increased RORs value

And then I’d play hardball till i got a much better deal

Duchene’s locker room cancer didn’t hurt the AVs franchise development
And Keeping Drouin around didn’t hurt Tampa

Botts traded from a position of weakness,
and that hurt the return we got for ROR

EDIT Please explain this to the people last night. I argued with them for 10 pages that heads will role including Botts if sh$t doesn't change. I said Botts might get a little more time but this is unacceptable.

Housley is either clueless or too nice of a guy to be a coach.

Eichel gets cracked from behind into the boards by Benn and Housley sits their like an idiot. Doesn't say anything. Where is the stick throwing? The yelling? Housley is a chump.

Who allows this to their players?


This team is soft and other teams are seeing it, it starts with the coach and GM.

When I saw Eichel get cracked by Benn from behind and Housley did nothing I was furious.

This is a strange place lately. They don't have a enough middle 6 talent, but have a clear plan to develop that for the future. The progress is obvious. Last night was frustrating because they should have scored 7 and won, not because they were destroyed in a one-sided game.

We are way past the TANK, this needs to stop. It's not even funny anymore as to how bad this team has become.

I think Botts has done everything right so far. If we keep losing we maximize the assets he acquired in the Blues trade. If Housely goes im fine with that too.

Should only last for 30 more games. If we aren’t a playoff team next year I’ll be shocked. I’ll then start to worry. This year was always a wash in my eyes anyways. Mitts, Thompson, Dahlin and even Pilut now are all in their rookie years. If it wasn’t for trading for Skinner you could of sworn Botts was openly tanking this year. The ROR trade was focusing more on the year 2021-2022 when our young guys would all be getting their raises. If it wasn’t last year I’m sure ROR would have gotten traded at some point regardless.

I thought Botts was a good hire but the coach hire always falls on the shoulders of the GM.

I said last night Botts might get another kick at the can with coaches but if that coach doesn't win Botts is gone.

NHL experience will be valuable for them when next season comes around. I still think the Blues first round will make the trade a win for us.
