The picks dont matter at all with them having a 2 or 3 year window left. The Pens got younger with 2 guys with term beyond this year.

Not so sure about that. Pens aren’t getting better as they get older, and the best guy in this trade has a brutal injury history. Pens are giving up what few picks they have left, and the pipeline is awfully bare. GM JR better win it this year or maybe next. After that, they’re window is pretty much closed.

That's pretty much the goal. Win now. Trying to squeeze a 4th cup out of Crosby and Malkin. Draft picks that develop in 3 or 4 years are useless.

2 years is a great window! i don't think pens fans could expect anything better. while sid and geno are still less than 35, the pens need to throw the kitchen sink and go all in. the 4th rders are useless. they got younger around the core and don't lose anyone to UFA. they didn't give up a 1st/hallander. great move

Long time panther fan here. Bjugstad is the biggest bum in the NHL. With his size and skill the guy should be a 60-70 point guy 30 goals. He’s never done that. He never will. He doesn’t use his size. He’s a big disappointment to say the least. McCann same thing. Both first round busts. Both suck. Have fun watching mediocrity and inconsistent hockey from them. McCann will be a healthy scratch from time to time. That’s because he’s lazy and needs motivation. Good riddance!

Wouldn't you be lazy and unmotivated if you had to play for the Panthers and in front of 3000 fans?

That game was awful to watch. Both teams were dopey. It was better in the third period and OT. Leafs played down to the Red Wings level. I expect them to beat the Pens tonight. Muzzin looked hyper and nervous out there. He'll be fine.
