How's this great prospect coming along? Lol
- DeflatedPucks

how many games of him have you seen?

I've heard at least 3 people more plugged into the hockey world praise him as a good prospect

People think 3rd liners are a bad thing. They aren’t. You need 4 lines in the playoffs.

Also during the regular season.

You need them at all times, really. It's a tough game to play when you're short 3 forwards.

Pens fans always say they got the best of trades, then they're trading away these so called better players.

Well I think the best player of that trade is Bjustad....if and when healthy ( that might be a problem) but still

Hard to argue that the Pens don't win trades when they've won the 2 of the last 3 Stanley Cups. But, I definitely think this trade is one that just makes sense for both teams. The wildcards...How high I McCann's ceiling? Can The big guy be consistent? Will Brassard continue to build off of recent success?

But, even with those questions, I think that both fan bases are pretty happy. Pens have a known, and extremely talented, roster locked up for 2 more years basically...Florida just set up to go hard in free agency.

I'd say Brassard, but for some reason can't fit in with Pens style. Bjugstad and McCann both have speed to mix with talent...could thrive in that system like Hagelin, Bonino, and others

Curious to see if FLA does in fact flip Brassard and to who/for what...

Isn't Boston in need of a 3C? They could make a move for him

Brassard provides muscle and sandpaper. He can do one arm pushups while simultaneously working on his deck.

I dont see it. As a playoff team they may opt to swap with a player that will sign with Columbus and help them in the playoffs

Bob on the other hand I can see them trading easily. Guy has been nothing but problems this season, doesnt have a good playoff record and frankly hasnt been that great this season.

pens win this trade, easily

Long time panther fan here. Bjugstad is the biggest bum in the NHL. With his size and skill the guy should be a 60-70 point guy 30 goals. He’s never done that. He never will. He doesn’t use his size. He’s a big disappointment to say the least. McCann same thing. Both first round busts. Both suck. Have fun watching mediocrity and inconsistent hockey from them. McCann will be a healthy scratch from time to time. That’s because he’s lazy and needs motivation. Good riddance!
