on the topic of "weak drafts"

The 2011 was considered oo be weak, especially when Bob said that RNH might be more of a high end 2nd line C

6 out of the top 10 scorers in that draft were drafted in the top 9

2012 draft with yak/murray was called weak/shallow

5 out of the top 10 scorers drafted in the top 9(4 of them being dmen!)

2014 was constantly called a weaker draft

6 out of the top 10 scorers in that draft so far were drafted in the top 9

you could make the argument that its even more important to draft high in weak drafts since there isn't much to be had once you get past the top 9 other than depth players and busts. Sure there's less franchise changing talents, but your odds of finding a true core player fall big time once you get past the top 9 of a weak draft, at least judging by these recent weak drafts.

Much like the guy above carrying a beer on the end of his tank, Benning is a skilled late season tanker, he's all over this!

Oh man Lassi Thomson on the rockets is going to be good. If there’s a chance at him round 2 he’s a steal for sure. Such a good skater, passer and vision. RH shot too!

He's sure improved from not being able to tie his shoes 2 years ago.

I don't think he can see his shoes the fat bastard. That said, he's a better GM now than he was five years ago that's for sure. He still needs to be fired though, but I think Aquilini loves him because of Pettersson and Boeser.

If he can tie his shoes and still breath, he's not fat.

Yah he’s fun to watch and works hard to his own end. Makes things happen for sure.

I’d pass on Foote. Little slow.

I've watched Fabbro in Penticton. I'd make a play for him as long as it wasn't for a 1st in this years draft.

But it’s weak after #10, and Canucks are picking 16-20

I want to let posters know that Serenity is no longer a safe haven to post without repercussions.

Booner had a rant in Serenity, which has been tolerated in the past, but I see he received a month ban.

Disappointing
