Groin, knees, hips.

Basically his whole lower body is ready to pop at any given second.

That’s not how it works. You shouldn’t be flagging posters you look up to

If Hossa develops an allergy to his hockey equipment as soon as the Hawks are desperate for 5.2 million in space, I feel like Luongo's joints and ligaments consistently exploding is an easy LTIR

Also, the guys on LTIR still get paid so they aren't giving up money.

Hossa signed a 12 year deal, played on the team for a couple cups now has a mysterious allergy to his hockey gear. Sounds like he just didn't want to play anymore after winning the cup.

I think insurance covers nhl salaries of injured players

Bjugstad and McCann to PIT for Sheahan, Brassard and multiple picks to FLA.

Brassard is a UFA this summer
Sheahan has a cap hit of $2.1M for one more year

Bjugstad has two years left at $4.1M
McCann has one more year left at $2.1M and will become an RFA

Florida frees up $4.1M in cap space for the 2019-20 season and beyond

Panthers giving up age for 2 comparable players? Seems odd

Panthers getting a 2nd and two 4ths. Maybe they're gonna take a run at Duchene?

Isn't much, but its something.

Really depends on what Tallon turns around and flips Sheahan (not good) and Brassard (having a terrible year) for.

Can still flip Brassard as well.

Maybe make a play for Duchene and Panarin in the offseason?

They're in such a weird spot. Caught between playoffs and building up their roster

I would guess Brassard improves when he doesn't have to play behind Crosby and Malkin

You'd think, but maybe he's just not that good anymore. Dude's only broke 20 goals twice in his career and cracked 60 points twice. He's 31.

I don't think the trade is that great for Pittsburgh either. They're taking on future commitments, essentially a wash for players and gave up draft capital.

Bjugstadt isn't the player people think he is from like 2014 or whatever. Dude's basically Sutter in terms of perception vs reality. McCann is better than Sheahan. But it seems overall just like middle/bottom 6 shuffling.

And another player, who wasn’t good enough for the Canucks win’s a cup as the third line C with the Pens?

The Panthers are already working on moving Brassard elsewhere, though not sure anything's imminent on that front right now. He will be moved again at some point before trade deadline.

I say Winnipeg - they tried to get him last year.

I think Bob Mac suggested CBJ's UFA's would be the target. Luongo/Riemer are not cutting it, if they had even Vancouver quality goaltending they would be in the playoff discussion

3rd team by age 22 isn't a good look. But I could see him doing well in the Jordan Staal/Brandon Sutter/Brassard role

That's probably the PR spin but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they're just cutting salary.

Not sure how they'd fit Bob into their goaltending. Lou's got like 3 more years and Reimer has 2.
