According to Caps fans, he's a perimeter player that avoids contact and is pretty soft. - Nucker101
so like 95% of the current Canuck roster |

The more I read about him, the more he sounds like a classic case of a player who always teases people because of his size/skating/skill but just doesn't have the hockey sense/mentality to put it all together. |

Okay lets move on as I'd like ya'll to define this for me
When the ref is finished reviewing a potential goal, why does he say "We have a good hockey goal"?
Is there a "bad hockey goal"? Can you score non-hockey goals during hockey? - Lindenis#1
I want to hear 'we have a garbage goal' some time. |

if we were ever to engage in any trade talk for a guy like burakovsky, i would hope it was a 1 for 1 player deal where we are more-so looking to get a guy who maybe needs a change of scenery, and are dealing a guy who maybe needs a change of scenery (Goldobin specifically). Burakovsky was pretty big during the caps playoff run last year, 6 pts in 13 games isn't too shabby. I wouldn't want to mortgage picks or prospects for a player like that. |

I agree. Caps are in a win-now mode, so taking on someone who needs more seasoning won’t do. I’d think it’d be for a vet — someone like Sutter or Guddy. A player they’ll need for depth in the playoffs. Maybe Sutter + C level depth prospect

I would definitely not add to Sutter for Burakovsky. I'd want the Caps to add. |

A little late to this party...
Burakovsky is a Swede by citizenship (born in Austria) not Russian. Might fit in on our left side with Petey as the corners / net front guy and Boeser on the other side.
More swedes for Vantel ;-) - SlightlyOffside
not loving the idea of him. bet he would have a good 10 game stretch when aquired then fades |

Eh, fine with me. I think that’d be a fine enough match though, especially as it get Gaud into the 3C role |

I believe in this situation both sides could benefit from Edler not wanting to leave. As for him losing a step, I don’t see it in the next few years. - thundachunk
Gonna see it next season when he sits back and plays like poop again because he has a fat contract signed |

Meat substitutes are usually nasty though I will say the beyond meat burger they have at A&W could legitimately be mistaken for the real thing.
My gf is a vegan but luckily she's not too preachy about it, I could never give up the carnivore lifestyle |

I just got back from the bank, the teller asked me how I was doing and I said great, I asked how she was and she said I'm better than great I said oh really and she said yeah I'm from Winnipeg and we both started laughing. |

Shopping at Trader Joe’s in the states has really altered that for me. I’m not a vegetarian, but I don’t cook meat for myself (just to lower my footprint). The amount of amazing non-meat meat items they have is great: sausages, ground, meatballs, etc... and they all taste really good. |

There's definitely more and more decent products being made. Where I live most of that stuff isn't an option though. It's also easier to feel okay about your carbon footprint when half the meat you eat is local and was hunted by family |

Mmm... soy based products contain estrogen, you're not supposed to eat too much of it because.... well, let's just say moobs. |

There's only a short window for hunting here since it gets so punishingly cold here in the winter and then birthing seasons are off limits, plus there's restrictions based on what ethnicity you are. A moose or a buffalo certainly provide plenty for a while though. |

We live in polar opposites: not much hunting to be had around Brooklyn. Lol |

Wanna talk carbon footprint lets talk about how many trees, animals and their habitat are destroyed to make soy fields. Also the chemical byproducts used on those fields destroying the land for any future crop yields. All for "ethical" vegan eating. |
