Still, I'd be bummed if JV were traded. He's finally starting to come around as an everyday player and he still has room to grow. Can't imagine that 5 years from now the return would be worth it.

We're in a spot where it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to do anything. The only picks that would be worth going out and trading for will cost assets the team doesn't want to give up.

Like JB said, the only trades that should be under consideration are player for player hockey trades. Can't see many players on our team that would fit that type of trade

Pouliot and Gudbranson should be traded for 7th rounders
