Pouliot would be a perfect fit in a Torts locker room.
- thundachunk

Absolutely. What would it take to get Panarin/Bobrovsky here?

Sutter-Poo-Edler or Tanev-Gagner?

Package?

I listened to beat reporter Pourterline (Spelling) last night. He said Panarin wants to play in a big high profile market and city . NY. Miami LA

Wouldn’t Toronto or Vancouver be considered high profile markets ?
Or just American cities ?

It would take at least three Gs to get them. So choose any three:

Not catering, the league isn’t bending to his will. He’s a star UFA, gets to decide where he wants to live his life. Would you choose to be in Columbus or NYC to live?

Edler's a solid first pairing minute muncher, it's too hard to find that, I suspect they sign him to a three year deal which allows Hughes and Juolevi further development/adjustment time.
- LeftCoaster

Thing about Edler is he is going to decline and be pushed down the depth chart which is fine but he needs to be paid like a 3rd pairing guy in say two years.

This simply isn’t true. Like saying beer was better before all these craft brewers started making things confusing or cars used to be so much better when you were either a Ford guy or a Chevy guy.

He’s at 5 mil right now, having a great year. Hard to level with him for less when he would surely get 5-6 on the market. Would try to resign him at 4.5 for the next 3, put in a full NTC if that would help.

Sharks or Islanders?

Tampa couldn’t afford him, Florida may fit.

According to a credible source that I speak with on occasion (I'm not going to tell who that is) tells me that Canucks are letting people know that Hutton & Virtanen are available. Don't shoot the messenger.

No one would be too upset if either were moved in the right trade.

Hutton and stretcher have both impressed this year as 4-5 dmen imo, but something needs to give if Edler and Tanev are back next year.
