Right...so draft 3 guys that "may" be NHL players in 4 years...

Great way to maximize Eichels prime

Dude step away from the ledge. You can trade for players without sacrificing the entire future.

If I didn't know better I would think Tim Murray is here posting

The genius with an MBA from Michigan already proved the Sabres don't need a 2nd line center. He decided a pile of trash from St. Louis was worth more. Good thing that fraidy cat is making the decisions now. Dude is scared of his shadow. Evidently Tage Thompson is going to be a lock for the Rocket Richard. That ogre effin blows. He'll be awesome when they expand the net 2 more feet to boost up scoring.

Thank you GMTM, your services are missed and appreciated.

While I'm here, Hey homie, you scrolling through your twitter feed to alert everyone of your latest rumors? Now I know why you say you heard it from your little birdie.

Crooked Broadery, you got to be pumped, Pocahontas is running for president in 2020 and last time I was in New York, heard minimum wage went up to over $10. Congrats on the raise.

Geuss who's back, back again, 3ER's back, tell a friend. Greatest of all time.

Couturier makes half of what the great one makes plus is a year younger plus isn’t a self deprecating asswipe to the media

He was always an underappreciated tendy, but I wouldn't call him greatest of all time.

many more of these type players though with those picks

And Theodore, Mantha and Burakovsky...

Not saying there isn't an element of chance. That would be asinine. However, if you have 3 picks in the 15-30 range, chances are you are going to hit on one or two of them in the form of a top6 or top4 talent, or better.

"In response to Schenn's potent offensive style and scoring ability, the Philadelphia Flyers signed him to a four-year, $20.5 million contract in July 2016, for an average annual salary of $5,125,000 until the end of the 2019–20 season"

The chances are higher, but the odds are the same as picking 1 time. You just have a 30% chance 3 times instead of once.

Beware the calamitous drop to 26th, which winds up being 7th after the lottery.

(In know it's still in the top 10).

If that's their plan. It's entirely up to management where they pick imo. Obviously they arent going to be at the top of the league, but they can bolster their forward ranks to get to a playoff spot.

It depends if they're willing to spend the assets.

0 people would say the first rounders are guaranteed to work out.

The point is we need a few of them to. It’s a must.

You can’t build this team with more high priced vets.

You need cheap, young skill

The Sabres are in a great position to do both
Fill the system with multiple first round picks
Trade a first round pick for an established good, NHLer.

Help now, and help later.
Why would you not do that?
Im lost.
