Tage is fun to watch. Mittelstadt needs an ugly one, he’s playing tight.
Dahlin is better than Eichel There's no need to start this debate. None whatsoever. I just hope that both stay in blue and gold for their entire careers.
Ullmark is better than Hutton agree

I don't think he goes for him but he is keeping tabs on his situation. - SABRES 89
If you can land Karlsson, you do it yesterday.
That opens the door to move Risto when the time comes for Dahlin to get paid. |

They are rabid to see Risto out the door for some mind-boggling reason.
Is he "elite"? No. Is he a good top 4 option? Yes.
Trading him just opens up another hole in the roster which they will inevitably female dog about. |

Players that are not being moved:
Eichel
Dahlin
Risto
Skinner (assuming we sign him)
Ullmark (for now)
very much doubt they want to move:
Reinhart
McCabe
Mittelstadt

Thompson, yeah probably in the Reinhart list, I'd like to hold onto Pilut as well.
The prospects and the four firsts probably fall into a category where they would be moved only for the right deal, i.e. young cost controlled established player, F or D, but I do think they could be moved. |

I must say though, including Thompson and Pilut in on those lists gives us 10 young players to move forward with. I think that's a pretty strong group to look forward to having for years to come. |

But it's still a flawed group without enough talent, so any move not including Jack or Dahlin isn't a complete shock. I like where he's going, but I don't think he's satisfied with this core.

This is where I disagree. These 10 players have enough talent. Its the rest of the team (Pominville, Okposo, Sheary, Larry, Girgs, Sobotka, Bogo, Scandella, etc.) that are the problem. |

They're not a problem if they're playing where they belong (bottom pairing, 4th line) |

scandella is still a problem on the bottom pair
and that 4th line is way too expensive per player and twice as many 4th liners as the team should have
my 2 cents |

why the PP coach.. who wouldn't think that Okposo on PP1 is a good idea.. |

what is a good price for a 4th line.. if they all play PK like most of them do i think that allows their price to go up slightly. But at this point i don't think Okposo should even be on the 4th line. they need to moulson him or something |

If the top 6 and top 4 were close, we wouldn't be one of the lowest scoring teams in the league.
Even if you like the talent, the shear number of defensive liabilities on the list has to catch your eye. When the game is on the line, we throw out some very mediocre players.
