First of all, you are the authority, not myself about the Edm Oilers.
I was referring to what seems like RNH not living up to the high draft choice. I could check his annual point totals but I do recall he has been injured and missed time at least a couple instances.
Obviously the lack of good enough defense makes it more difficult to generate a lot of points
That being said, with the primary attention once McDavid came into the league (after RNH), I figured RNH won't face the top checking line or best offensive line each night. Even if RNH does not have Draisalti as a linemate, i figured he should score more IN PAST YEARS. I do not have stat's knowledge memorized. I see from your response he has amassed 46 in 51 hp this campaign which is I suppose ok on a bad team
I want to ask this; what upside do you see for RNH and would you consider trading him/what value do you say he holds

In RNH's last 2 seasons combined he has played at a 69 point pace over 82 games.
RNH is debatably a 1st line C/W or an upper echelon 2C on the low end (Call him a fringe 1C). He's versatile in the sense that he is good defensively and can play wing if needed too.
Fair value for him would be a similar aged D man that is considered a borderline top pairing guy since C's and D's hold similar value.
I don't think anyone would offer up a D man like that and because we need forwards as bad as we need D, Nuge is best off staying put IMO.
