TC, I like the creativity of some of the proposals, but if that Senators deal were to take place, I’d be at the UC right now picketing for Stan’s removal. That is Chiarelli-level brutal.

Yes Saad is having a down season, but he’s still only 26 and is a consistent 50+ point player who brings a very good two-way game. He has more value to the team than he does on the market. Plus, it’s not as if the Hawks are exactly flush with top-six forwards.

Manson would look nice in a ‘Hawks uni and he’s locked in at a solid clip for three more years, but he’s also a RD (not sure if he plays/has played on the left).

When I get back from work I’m going to try to come up with some of my own proposals too. Hell, I may even make a mock 2019-2020 lineup out of this exercise.

Muskegon has the best team in the USHL right now playing .778 hockey, great little arena with a fantastic PBP man in Scott Bradford . Fargo is 6th in the West playing .574 (the West is bruuuutal), have Ben Meyers who leads the league in goals & scoring and are defending champs.

Buying longer term. They're gonna sell Ferland because he's asking for the moon, but they went and got Nino to replace him long term for the cap hit they were looking to give Ferland.

They'll package a D man and futures/Ferland for the best forward they can get their hands on.

The manson trade would be the one I’d like to see completed even if it’s the only one done I’m not sure the ducks do it though.

Dzingel/Smith - two forwards for two D, when we are weak on D. I like Dzingel/Smith but maybe for AA, Perlini, Beaudin, Sikura, and a 2nd round pick

Hamilton - tough call, but I would do it.

Klefborn/Rieder - change it from a 4th to a 2nd round pick.
