The other 38 games it most likely accounted for all aspects.
The 10 game win streak was unsustainable, exciting as hell and even more fun to watch...but unsustainable, and most everyone commented as such.
I'll take another 20 games just like them!
But to project another say 7 game streach like that in the remaing 34 games seems to be an absurd assumption...IMO.
But you are free to think what you will
MidApril will tell us which was more accurate.

Duchene and Hoffman were both dealt with term. I’m sure there are more.

Bottom line it happens under the right circumstances and we can do it.

I haven’t seen anyone advocating that the Sabres should be acquiring rentals.

I may be the one to post most regularly about wanting to upgrade now, rather than waiting to draft and develop, and I have consistently said I’d rather have a known NHLer w term than a mid-late first rounder that will make contributions (maybe) in 3 or 4 years.
