I'll wait for an actual reason. - hscesq
Late game penalties. Refused goals for no reason. Playing teams that are on back to backs like all the time.
It's a joke. The fact that this team is in a playoff spot without any player of significance shows you how badly the league wants this team in the playoffs. I am praying for a Bolts-Habs first round match-up. Not only would the Bolts destroy them in four fames, I predict the Habs would not score a single goal. |

They're seriously the worst locker rooms I've ever been in. - eichiefs9
They are awful, agreed. There are some other pretty bad ones - Long Beach isn't great and Iceland in New Hyde Park is disgusting too. |

Let me recap:
1. You still haven't given the reason why what happened in last night's game, was a Habs favor from the league.
2. Do you have any idea what the Habs record is, as far as challenges on goals goes?
3. You are saying the league schedules more games for the Habs against teams that have played the night before, than for any other team? I suppose then, that they PLAY less back to backs than any other team as well?
4. You really believe that the league is able to make this team good enough to sit in third place in the Atlantic at the break, based on scheduling and rules? |

HAHA..I played as a mite-squirt at mitchell field in the 80s. Hardly a Geezer. BUT....the Zamboni guy at Superior ICe Rink did play for the LI Ducks, if I remember correctly. |

1. He won’t.
2. He doesn’t.
3. He’s saying that. And don’t confuse him with a two parter.
4. Well, duh.

You clearly haven't read the part of the rulebook that says the Habs MUST start every game with a 2 goals lead. |

I believe you're correct about the Zamboni guy. And the guy at Iceland now, played in the NHL....I think. |

I guess I'm wondering why the NHL would want a French-Canadian (double knock against them) team in the playoffs.
It's a fact that US audiences do not want to watch Canadian teams.
It's also a fact that Canadian fans are much more likely to continue to watch NHL playoffs than their US counterparts.
Is it gate revenues? Is that why the NHL would concoct such a dastardly plan?
Which would then logically lead me to my next question:
Why the hell hasn't the league figured out a way to put the Leafs in the Stanley Cup finals for 51 years?
I'll hang up and listen. |

That may very well be. I, for one, did not think they would being even close to such a record, especially with the league's worst PP. But try and think about what you're saying - does it seem reasonable? I get it - you hate the Habs, which is your right and I have no issue with that, whatever your reason is. But what you're accusing the league of, even if some or all of it was true, would not have the effect you are correlating the actions to. |

Well, they can bend the rules and make the schedule advantageous...they still can't make miracles.
