Had the isles not been able to beat the same team they previously faced the past two playoffs that they will most likely face again this year.
Then yes, of course they would. It would be a wait see.
No offense but i think you're too sensitive about the leafs.
Theyve proving to be a good reg season team, havent proved anything in the playoffs yet. Series wins wise

Losing in game 7 to the Bruins in 2013 has no relevance whatsoever to today.

None.

We lost to Washington two years ago.

Kind of like how you don't trade Billy Nylander unless you're higher than poop on PCP, and wasted on beers

To some, it doesn't matter how many players are added and subtracted, it is still the same team. They will be beaten by the Bruins first round. END OF STORY.

Why watch the games.

Kapanen for Larsson

Would you do it?
Steady, RHD, 26 years old; would look good next to Rielly.

Oilers want a speedy winger to play with McDavid.

- gravyface

Yes.

No way Oilers would do this though. Just think of the optics: Hall for Kapanen.

Although I would argue that the Leafs' history of crushing Ottawa's hopes is still relevant.

And both Boston and Habs fans would admit that the Habs will always be favoured against the Bruins.

So now I'm confused.

Larsson solidified the backend that year.
He was great.
No doubt.
Hasnt been as good since

- Fakepartofme

No he wasn't. His first year in Edmonton he was decent at best. Since then, he's been awful. Was a decent #3 his first year and arguably a #5 since.

The reason Edmonton made the playoffs was because Talbot played well above his head that year. And McJesus was unstoppable.

He was really good.
Im not saying he was the only reason they made the playoffs at all. Just saying he played great, helped the back end and they made the playoffs that one year.
Since then, the team has been tire fire and hes hasnt been as good as that one season.

As i said to gravy i believe, i wouldn't do a kap for larsson deal.

I agree with you. In Larson's first year, the fans were crying the entire year about giving up Hall for what they received. Everyone sees things differently.

Cool. I'm not contesting that. Just that Larsson wasn't overly good his first year in Edmonton, because he wasn't.

EDIT: I wouldn't do Kap for Larsson, either.
