Fastest way to fix the oilers is to trade McDavid and get a bunch of great pieces back. Tank this year and hope to get Hughes.

Otherwise I think it will be another 5 years before they even look competitive if they’re lucky.

One player can only do so much when he has to sit on the bench for 35 mins of the game and watch his team get trounced.
