Endorsements aren't really a guarentee. Seems like an eternal probability for those two in particular, though.

Someone here posted an article which stated that players only bring home ~$300,000 from every $1,000,000 there contract is worth. I can't in good conscience feel sympathy because of that, $300,000 a year is still an outstanding salary when compared to the average. But that might have an impact on the money you're willing to leave on the table.

Matthews, Marner and Nylander already have endorsement deals. If the Leafs win a Cup, or two with these three on the roster, I think they might have more endorsement deals come their way.

In other news is Trotz the early favourite for the jack Adam's or Gallant? I think it would be between those two.
