No. But to think that was worse than Barzal for Reinhart, Seguin for Eriksson/Morrow, Hall for Larsson, or Eberle for the waiver wire is far worse. Much worse than a top pairing dman for a top pairing dman.

It's not a good trade. But there are worse. The money is bad and the term is bad, but Weber is at least still mostly serviceable.

Worse would be:

Griffing Reinhart for, well, pretty much anything.
Schenn for JvR
Forsberg for Erat
Kurvers for a first (used on Scott Niedermeyer)

And so on and so on...

I don’t mind Jones getting sent down....Klef will be gtg after the break....Jones was starting to make more and more mistakes which is expected he is a rookie....he can go play top pairing minutes for the Condors......Puju and Yamamoto should both be sent down till the break is over....I dunno wtf to think about Koskenins deal but I do know he is without a doubt the #1 now....Talbot is either traded (zero value) or is done after the season

I’m tired of the Hall for Larsson narrative and Hall was my favorite Oiler.....let’s break the two down

Hall for Larsson: it was an overpayment I’ll be the first to say it....but what did we get? While he is struggling now there is no doubt that Larsson made our blueline better as a whole since he came aboard....not his fault who he was traded for....we don’t make the playoffs without him the one year we did.....he won’t get a lot of points but what he has done till the last few games is provide some defensive stability....anyone remember what our blueline looked like or how they played prior? Give me a break......I said it’s an overpayment but at least we got SOMETHING worthwhile in return

Reinhart for our 1st: We got nothing out of this....nothing...zilch....zero....nada.....we gave up a future potential player that we need right for for nothing....how is this not worth? When you examine a deal you look at who you traded BUT who you traded for.....we have our first up for nothing....that hurts much more then the Hall for Larsson deal
