I'd rather Hayes over Zucc. He's younger, he's big and skilled. He's really close friends with Johnny, plus I heard he's related to Tkachuk. He'd be a great fit on and off the ice, and would probably re sign if Calgary can make room.

Nothing against Zucc, i think he would fit in as well. I just think, for the right price, Hayes would be the better guy to target.

Hayes has more size too. and Younger like you said, so makes more sense since Frolik would probably have to go the other way and youth is what could help aid that move

When Zuuc is playing well, like he is now, I think Zuuc would be better value. Hayes is/was playing great this year, but zuuc can play w/ anyone

Even if you don’t agree, that’s the direction management has chosen. So go from there.

I would prefer Krieder myself. One year left after this one, big guy who skates well, streaky, but good scoring touch.

My point is not everyone can make the adjustment and play the off wing like Zuc has proven.

He's not slow, but he's not a run and gun kind of player. He holds onto the puck at times and uses his strengnth, size and reach to hold off defenders and makes plays from that
