Hope you are right. Honestly really hoping he snaps out of it. Honestly though, after putting the team through the ringer and producing not much, he's a prime candidate to be moved out on July 1 on a team loaded with talent and having cap issues.

how has nylander been good this season?
previous 2 seasons he was playing well / ok (mostly riding matthews' slipstream matthews though), but this season he's been really bad.
not like that's a huge surprise; it was always very clear that he wasn't in the marner-matthews-tavares category..

And rightly or wrongly, the reality is that Nylander missed camp and a quarter of the season.

The only silver linings here are:

1. He might not find his stride for another month, but boy will he be fresh for the playoffs.

2. The holdout blues may be a cautionary tale for Matthews and Marner to get something done ASAP in the off-season.

One thing we can all agree on is that this schedule is (frank)ed up.
