Hey TC, I heard you on the rink podcast, nice job!
One of my nieces and one of my nephews are both getting married (not to each other, lol) in the next couple of years so I bought your book for both grooms! I figured they could used some support! - matt_ahrens
Amazing. Thanks for the support Matt!
Let me know how they like it. |

Justin would you do saad for manson? - Scott1977
I would think about it. Manson is a RHD though. Hawks will be running out of room for Righties. |

That's awesome! He's a very funny guy. I saw him and Sherwood at the Rialto in Joliet. Just down the street where I went to college. - I Am The Breadman
I would have loved to see that show. My daughter and I watch that show all the time.
I haven't seen a comedy show in a long time. I saw Jo Koy about 10 years ago when I lived in Phoenix, and I had planned on seeing Greg Hahn this past summer, but I had to work. |

Corey Crawford was on the ice 30 minutes beforehand working with goaltending coach Jimmy Waite, along with Collin Delia and Cam Ward. He has been in concussion protocol since Dec. 16 after smacking the back of his head on the post and leaving in the second period against San Jose. |

Only 2 games for this is repugnant, the NHL is becoming
more of a farce, something I never thought possible
Whoever gave the suspension outta be banned for life
https://twitter.com/NHLPl...-nhl-news-january-18-2019 - gazza53
The only thing wrong with the explanation is that they accepted Johanson’s plea that he didn’t intentionally get Scheifele’s head.
Looked pretty intentional to me.
Two games is absurd. |

I either hope he comes back soon (as long as he's ok), or doesn't come back at all. That hit to the post was wicked. If he does come back soon, I hope they can trade him to a team that will protect him, Cuz God knows this team won't! |

Perlini is in concussion protocol.
Fourth Hawk this season - HALF season -Kruger, Anisimov, Crawford, Perlini.
Something is wrong - and at some point, the league is going to have to change things - or suffer whatever consequences happen. |

It was a great show. Blind mouse trap game, hilarious. My niece watches the show with me at nights. She's crazy about it. |

Yep - he would love to showcase them in another nationally televised outdoor game and have none of the stars able to play because they’re in concussion protocol. |

I agree that Kunitz should not be playing, but wasn't Perlini hurt against the Rangers? Kunitz taking his spot. As for Joki, Hawks know what they have in him, so possibly giving Kookoo some ice time to see what he has?
Im sure more auditions will continue for the remainder of the season with more Rockford players coming up after the break and TDL
Matinee against the Caps Sunday. WSH has lost like 4 in a row. Will they continue the streak or will Hawks pull off the upset on national TV?

If I'm giving JC and the Blackhawks FO the benefit of the doubt, the rest of the year is to:
- Pad the stats of 88 & 19
- Play Keith and Seabrook to give casual fans guys to cheer for that they remember
- See if you can get Saad going
- Support the development of guys that you think could be the future like DeBrincat, Strome, Jokiharju, Murphy, Delia, and Dahlstrom - which means playing them but also protecting them from overexposure (Joki, Delia, maybe Dahlstrom)
- See if any of these guys are worth keeping: Gustafsson, Kahun, Kampf, Caggiula, Perlini, Hayden, Koekkoek, and Forsling
- Use Kunitz, Kruger, and AA to fill space |

has this made the rounds? it's a radiolab show about when John Scott got voted into the All Star game. It's produced by a non-hockey show, which makes it even more interesting to see how it looks from the outside. one of my non-hockey fan friends posted it on facebook. John Scott comes across as a good guy.

All the rationale and theories, yours included, make sense. Guess we'll see how it goes. I'm only concerned with any negative affect on our promising young guys. Not sure there will be any. |

yeah, it's on the coaching staff and front office to make the right choices on who to keep and who to move. And for the young guys they decide to keep, don't screw them up! With Kane and Toews - and Crawford and Keith and Seabrook, if they get kept - they need to now over use them and thus wear them out. |
