I am not sure how to make my question more clear.

I assert that the missed call isn't reviewable once the team clears the zone.

You brought up the Matthews play.

I asked if the other team cleared the zone after the missed off-side call.

Did the other team clear the zone?

- Aetherial

No, they scored.

I have watched all games.

Nylander is not better than Johnsson / Brown or Lindholm this season.
He has to be.
Don't understand why people have so many difficulties recognizing that he has been really really subpar so far.

You are entitled to your opinion.

People don't have trouble recognizing that his play has been sub-par.

People have trouble agreeing with anything you say because most of your takes are completely disconnected from reality.

Matthews goal was called off after 43 seconds in the O zone, if they go down the other way and score before a whistle, can you call offside against yourself?
- bixll

I think the ability to challenge an offside ends once the play goes back onside.

Which, to be faaaaiiiiiir, never happened on that Tampa goal. The lightning never left the zone.

Was there ever any actual slowdown of it? It looked like it hit the top of the glass right where the curved glass starts. No way a linesman is going to distinguish that in real time and blow it dead even if it hit right on the curved glass. Not reviewable at all though and Tampa should've kept playing.

need to do some eye test before you start to criticized players.

reading the stat after the game doesn't paint the full picture.

I thought that it was odd that they stopped skating to point it out.

It’s probably on TB for putting a camera on the ice side of the glass.

That’s complete speculation but it seems like it would make sense.

0 positives is a ridiculous statement. No one is saying hes playing currently like the next(lets put it in terms youll get) Federov/Jagr.

But to say 0 positives is just being over the top

It's a microphone to catch the ice-level sounds. All NHL arenas have them.

That troll has a permanent auto-tune voice.

Cracks me up every time I watch that movie.

Because yes, my kids (frank)ing love the troll movie.

Watching that game last night - specifically the Lightning PP - reinforced not only the need for a RD, but one that can bomb the puck from the point.

Opposing PK are able to collapse on the back door/cross ice pass too easily because there is no respect for the Leafs current D to get a dangerous shot on net and don't have to account for that at all and probably prefer to give them that shot. In fact, too often the D find shin pads let alone a dangerous scoring opportunity.

Parayko checks that box for me, and man did he look good paired with Rielly for a short time on Team North America before injury.

P & P: Parayko and Pysyk at the deadline.
