Isn't Charles dead now? Makes me think, what would his Cap hit be? |

I’ll say 6 if he gives the puck away in game 7 vs the Bruins, 7 if James Tanner likes him. - Santo_44
I could see 6 years from his 1st NHL game for sure. Should be long enough for him to learn how to not make the same mistakes over and over again. |

It's always easy to assume the newest toy is the best, so I have to try and hold my reservations with him, but for sure he seems more promising than any other prospect we have. I think Dubas has put an emphasis on intelligent players. Sandin sounds like he can see the game really well and make smart plays. - UsernameUnknown
Yep, I think Dubas will want to hold onto Sandin. |

You actually get cap relief for it. It's like Jared Cowen's contract |

Excellent.. Dude, can slide right into our top 4, basically the same age as Hainsey . Maybe even play him with Rielly.. |

Wouldn't be shocked to learn Hainsey and Charlie are actually one and the same.
Have they ever been seen in the same room together? eh? Have they?
Exactly. |

Me too. I'd even go a bit higher. I'd do 7.
He's a victim of partners like Zaitsev, like with Soderberg's shortie.
I'd like to steer away from a NMC though. Him snubbing Edmonton in the McDavid deal would be a bit much to handle. - walshyleafsfan

Oh. My. God.
On a separate note: Have you ever listened to Hainsey talk? He's like Babcock's parrot. Same language. Even the same intonations. Hainsey is a survivor who knows how to play to the coach's good books. |

As much as I don't like Gardiner—and trust me, I don't—it's going to be a tall task making this D better next year than this year.
And if you think about how sub-par this D-group is now, you'd think that wouldn't be hard.
But I mean.. Hainsey, Gardiner and Z if we pawn him off; That's 3 D we need to replace with not a lot of money or prospects to do it. - UsernameUnknown
Agreed, it will be tough to replace the points, but if we can improve in our own end, that might help overall.
Unless its babs system that is the issue. |

We use Habs playing cards as targets at the camp. I use the cards I am given as a joke for Christmas each year. Free targets. Works out great. |

Just so I don't have to back-read into the last thread I am going to assume everyone nodded in agreement that Dubas was an IDIOT for not trading for Luke Schenn.
Carry on. |

Shooting a habs playing card is a waste of good ammunition. It's better to use them as kindling to start your fire. |

The sideways toilet seat never looked bad in a set of sights or a scope. I disagree. Lots of ammo too, I make all my own. |

YEAH... WELL...
I rack up maple leaves every autumn and put them in a garbage can.
At least like 3 times every year too.
TAKE THAT. |
