Asking price is over $6 mill per, according to beat writers in Carolina. He's going to hit UFA no matter where he finishes the year.

Silfverberg was placed on IR on weds meaning he isnt eligible until next weds for 1, although the ASB would afford him an extra week afterwards. And he has recorded 1 season of more than 40 points. I would agree he may be beneficial to the team overall, but we need help putting pucks in the oppositions net, not more complete players who dont really upgrade anything. Supposedly looking for a long term solution according to every outlet but here, and willing to deal any pick plus possibly Yamo or the Pizzaboy (or any other prospect that may entice: see Bear/Jones). I dont see Jakob being a fit unless it's an underpayment with conditionals added and I dont see his career .49 PPG much of an improvement on needs.
