I think you walk away from Elliott actually at the end of this year as there will be upgrades available via trades if necessary. Not sure he ever gets to 100% again healthwise

For sure, I expect any goalie partner to be encouraging, talk to their partner and have lunch with him. I haven’t seen anything about Lyon that suggests he can’t get a A+ for his goalie buddy grade. Likewise Hart.

No interest in Lucic even with money retained. Too much term.

Toronto is not going to give up Kapanen in that deal in my opinion.

Actually the Flyers PK has been trending forward since November. Hakstol was fired in mid December. The same assistant coach is still in charge of the PK. A big part is getting the saves from goaltending also.

That's because they don't have Brandon Manning or Nick Schultz on their team.

Forgot about Schultz.

Honestly, I think goaltending is the #1 factor in the win last night. Halak was off his game and Hart was great. A couple other Flyers were good (Lindblom especially) but they really didn't look all that great overall.

Agree. It very easily could have been 4 or 5-0 in the 1st. Hart bailed them out numerous times and he had no shot on the 2 that went in. Heck even the 3rd late in the game was a tough one.
