and do you know where all those little things you just posted show up? In the stats, better release, more goals, more accuracy, more goals. Stats were a vital part of evaluating was all i said and that is true.

Taking a player like JvR for instance (I use him because he has multiple 30 goal seasons, but is not considered a pure shooting goal scorer). Now compare him to another 30 some goal scorer...does that make them all equal? Is Jeff Skinner the same kind of goal scorer JvR is? I mean both are 30 goal scorers in their career.

They for sure score in different ways, both guys kind of up and down to, maybe a few 30 goal seasons each. That's where i'd dive deeper into the things you mentioned, but the stats do paint a pretty good picture.

I always liked him to. Fletcher pretty much stole him for nothing from the Islanders a few years back. I was hoping Fletcher had him on the radar to replace Simmonds. The return seems light but what forward could the Flyers have offered that was better other than their top six.

Most notable thing after the awesome win last night besides the interesting repeated pattern of down 0-2, come back with hat trick and win 2 pts, was Lindblom and the PK.

I have hoped that Patrick or Lindblom and eventually both get real PK time. It’s happening! Lindblom had a great night all around.
