Why would Minny trade Nino for Rask? They shaved a little off the cap, but got a much lesser player IMO.

I only used Laughton as the first name that came into the tier that would be relative to the above trade. Personally I would think they would like to add more depth on D then anything.

I am not looking at stats, I am looking at the way they look(ed) in the NHL. I don't see many Phantoms games

Well the current Minnesota/Carolina was purely based off change of scenery for both, but Minnesota needs cap relief like the Flyers need Hart to be good.

I don't know if I would technically trade Laughton for Coyle, even though I think Coyle has a much higher ceiling. I would think about Gudas, but that really doesn't help the cap for Minny.

Laughton has been a bright spot this season. He is top 9 now and versatile with LW, C, Faceoffs and PK.

Kinda wish we snagged Nino. Seems like we could've gotten him for pretty cheap
