The majority of actors who played hockey were great guys, Thicke was one of only a couple that were asses.

That's cool ... well, not Thicke being an ass. Where did you play with these guys?

Did they ask him if he'd waive? He's playing like he does when his emotions have gotten better of him.

It's better that we lose. We all know that this team is a few pieces away. Get 1 piece through the draft. Get another piece through FA. And then hope some of our prospects at the WJC come through and can contribute. Get on board guys...

I want Kaapo on this team!

Ok maybe it's because I am drunk. Dunno. LOL

I've spent a good amount of time bashing Seabs and to a lesser degree Toews, Keith, whoever was in my path.

Then I thought tonight. As a fan of the Bears I have ONE Super Bowl to remember, as a fan of the White Sox I have ONE World Series to remember.

The Hawks gave us THREE flags.

Bring up ANY NAME, ANY NAME from the 1985 Bears team and I'll kneel and pray (and I'm not even religious). So why? NOT ONE TIME did I ever bash Walter Payton for failing to pick up a key first down in the 1987 playoffs? WHY? Because he was (frank)ing Walter Payton and he had done enough baby. I think I'm gonna start treating , Toews, Keith and yes... Seabs (though not quite on that level) the same way.

Mark this point now, I may analyze games, I may be pissed we lost, but as far as bashing the players who hung three giant flags in our stadium, no matter what I think about their play today, I am out. Retired. Not bashing any of them ever again.

Peace.

I also have no problems with the Hawks loosing ... But no blow outs. Hopefully, Stan and McD finally realize the Hawks are sellers... Keith and Annisonov should be the front runners in all trade discussions.

Brent Seabrook was literally been my favorite player since something like 2007, when he was playing his heart out for a poop team. He gave his heart to the Hawks. I'm done bashing him. And I apologize for it. It's a joke I ever spewed venom on a message board about his game. No Seabrook, no Stanley and I don't give a flying (frank) how he plays tomorrow or how much he's paid.

You know what?... you’re absolutely right. These guys deserve the same reverence that our other Chicago sports heroes have earned, and that includes Q.

But as for Bowman and McD... I have nothing but absolute disdain.

24 goals scored in the last 7 games; 14 on the pp that should get you some wins right?

Drunk or not, you've made one of the best points I've seen on here in a couple of years.

You can throw the Cubs on your pile of teams and players who are revered for that one title in generations.

So, yes, our Hawks have spoiled us rotten and, from time to time, you'll have to forgive us for acting like spoiled brats.

Sure, a game-winning overtime goal in a game 7 against Detroit was special, but yet this is still my favorite...

Most revered Cubs team was one that DIDNT win anything - the one that collapsed in 1969.

I am also guilty of bashing our core players the last couple of years. We should remember all those wonderful years of nothing but super performances by our core. We all get old... It's inevitable!
